About us

We hold monthly lectures from October to July on Tuesdays at 10.30am and on Thursdays at 6.30pm. (see lecture listings) Our lectures are held  in the Kensington Central Library Lecture Hall, at 12 Phillimore Walk,  W8 7RX.

We also arrange a number of visits to places of interest some in London and some further away (see Visits listing).

We are an independently registered Charity, and the funds we received via the Gift Aid scheme are used to support charities within the Borough, normally associated with the young arts. We are at present supporting the Portobello Dance School.

We consider that Heritage Volunteering is an important part of our role within The Arts Society, and currently we have more than 30 members working on a wide-range of projects within the Greater London Area.
