Travel from Charing Cross to Sevenoaks by train (not included in the ticket price. A bus, (included in the ticket price) will take us from Sevenoaks to Knole and back to the station in the afternoon. Introductory talk from within the historic courtyards to hear about Knole’s occupants and their influence on the house as it has evolved over six centuries.  The tour ends at the Conservation Studio where an expert will explain the painstaking work carried out there. Time after lunch to explore Lord Sackville’s private garden only open on Tuesdays.
